The Denison Community Association attended the National IMPACT conference at Arizona State University from February 13-16. The entire cabinet was able to attend, including Stella Boeckman, Caroline Bremer, Steph Jackson, Tovey Nederveld, Sarah Schubert, Brooke Stiles, Natalie Wysocki, Abby Valentine, and faculty advisor Susie Kalinoski.
We each attended different sessions and learned about meaningful community service, having sustained dialogue between administrators and students, cultivating an inclusive and accessible culture of service on campus, participating in social justice and civic engagement, and planning and participating in domestic and international service events. This annual conference helps us generate new ideas and we are excited to bring what we learned back to campus!
