Fraternities and sororities have a long-standing history at Denison University.
The first Greek-lettered organization was founded in 1868, and the community continues to grow. Our community is home to four governing councils that support 19 nationally affiliated organizations, with different identities and traditions to explore.
Fraternities and sororities engage and support students while they are on the Hill to build capacities for their personal and professional growth. Students who join the community make a personal commitment to themselves through leadership development, relationship building, career networking, participating in civic and service engagement, and cultivating social responsibility.
We challenge our organizations and members to be the best versions of themselves, and utilize this experience as a learning lab to launch themselves into their future careers post graduation. We hope you will explore the opportunity and find yourself in our community on the Hill!
