What are good things to submit?

We encourage What’s Happening items that highlight up-to-the-minute things in your office or department: awards, upcoming events, recaps of past events, and timely news about a student or faculty member in your department. We also encourage lengthier spotlight features on students, faculty, and staff—these don’t have to be tied to anything timely per se, but rather can showcase the people who make an office or department what it is. For other content, it depends—we’d probably need to take a look, but we can help find the best place for it, whether it’s Denison.edu, MyDenison, or somewhere else entirely.

Who writes the content?

Offices and departments are encouraged to write their own What’s Happening items, spotlights, and more. If you don’t have time or aren’t comfortable doing so, we’re happy to help. Feel free to contact us.
