The Center for Narrative Journalism presents “3 Days of Story: Podcast-a-thon” on April 4-6. The event gathers guest audio producers and mentors as well as Denison students and faculty from a variety of disciplines to learn the nuts and bolts of crafting audio stories for radio.
Workshops offered include writing for radio, recording narration, mixing in Adobe Audition, and more. The 3-day event culminates in a competition of the top entries with music, food, and prizes at Pod-a-palooza in Burton Morgan Lecture Hall on April 6 at 5:30 p.m.. It is free and open to the public.
This effort is made possible by the Mellon “Writing in Place” grant. This $700,000 grant is to be used toward embedding “place-based” narrative in Denison’s curriculum.
