Outside the Classroom
The heart of our Global Commerce major is the transparent integration of curricular and co-curricular learning experiences. The skills we help Global Commerce students develop through our co-curricular programming are generally the primary goal (and limit) of a business school undergraduate major. But our majors also have an intellectually invigorating curriculum that underpins their practical skills and better prepares them for the complexities of global careers in business, trade, non-profit management, and non-profit organizations.
We frame our co-curricular experiences and events so that our students have consistent opportunities to connect the ways that they are thinking in their classes with their co-curricular experiences. At the same time, in our courses, students are invited to bring their various “outside the classroom” experiences into analytical discussions about the structures and practices of global commerce.
