Overview, Policies & Accommodations
A wide range of services to provide equal access to the educational experience is offered for students with disabilities, including reasonable accommodations and auxiliary services. In supporting our students as they move toward graduation and the world of work, they are strongly encouraged to be self-advocates regarding accessibility-related issues.
A student with a disability who thinks he or she may need an accommodation to access a campus program, activity, or service should contact the Academic Resource Center to discuss their specific needs. Advance notice is required to evaluate the request and provide notice or arrangements for any accommodation. Denison University relies on the Academic Resource Center in Higley Hall 020 to verify the need for reasonable accommodations based on documentation on file in this office.
