The work exhibited in On being someone’s child discusses misconstructed memories and untangling truth from personal narrative; it speaks to the grey area of a child’s mind, creating stories that become adult truths. The work in this show discusses two section’s of the artist’s life, a before and after. Specifically, before and after the summer of 2018 when the artist experienced a family trauma.
