Therapists support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of their clients. They actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues. Therapy takes many forms and you don’t always need a Ph.D. to practice it.
A panel discussion about a career as a therapist will take place on March 26, at 5:30 p.m in the Shepardson room of Slayter Hall.
The purpose of this panel is to provide an overview of the various educational pathways available for working with clients. Representatives from psychology, counseling, school psychologist and social work will be present.
Sponsored by the Knowlton Career Center, the Wellness Center at Whisler and the Department of Psychology.
