Summer Scholar Poster Sessions:
132 Summer Scholars completed their research this summer, and for the first time, one Poster Session for all Summer Scholars posters (except creative performance) will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, from 11:30 to 1:30, in Mitchell Center. Shuttles will be available from the parking garage.
The projects that are culminating in a creative performance rather than a poster will be presented on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 11:30 to1:30 in the Bryant Arts 4th floor gallery.
Lunch will be provided at both sessions. Please join us to hear about the incredible work our Scholars did this summer!
Fellowship Fridays:
New this year, the Lisska Center will host open hours every Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. Come for a quiet, dedicated place to work on your upcoming fellowship applications with a Lisska Center faculty or staff member nearby to answer all your questions.
Chowder Hour:
The Lisska Center is seeking people to give Chowder Hour talks and cook for this event (everyone loves a homemade meal)! Past Chowder Hours have focused on everything from faculty artwork to the Denison Global Fellows. Contact Cookie Sunkle if you're interested.
Congratulations to:
Our new Gilpatrick Fellow, Carson McMann and to Chelsea Chen '17 for winning a Critical Language Scholarship to Azerbaijan for Turkish last May!
