Denison was among the first liberal arts colleges to launch a data analytics program. The program was rolled out in 2016. Today, data analytics is among our highest-demand and fastest-growing majors, and our graduates are in extraordinarily high demand.

Project-based practicums

Work in teams to collect and analyze data as you work with clients from local nonprofits to international corporations. Develop exposure to policy-making, implement data-driven insights, interact with leaders and professionals, and gain presentation skills.

Beyond the Classroom

Internships

Take an internship (or two!) to explore careers related to data analytics and your chosen field. Recent data analytics majors have interned with Morningstar, Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and with nonprofit organizations.

Study Abroad

Study in your chosen region to enhance your language skills and cultural agility while building your career network. Conduct research during a semester abroad or complete a summer internship in another country.

Summer Scholars

Delve into independent research through our Summer Scholars program. All Summer Scholars receive a stipend and a housing allowance plus supplemental funds for research expenses.
