‘Documerica’ and ‘Farmscape’ opening reception

The Denison Museum hosts an opening reception for “Documerica” exhibit and the 2016 “Farmscape” juried exhibition. “Documerica” was launched in 1972 by the newly created EPA as a geographic project to document the American landscape. For this exhibit, Denison faculty and staff selected images from the “Documerica” archives, providing captions that describe their responses to the work. The “Farmscape” exhibition celebrates the work of Denison students who spent a semester in an environmental studies class, learning about the American food system through the lens of a camera.
