Rainey Baldwin-Johnson struggles to heal from the loss of her daughter and deal with the disintegration of her marriage and her elderly father’s eccentric crusade. Award-winning Canadian playwright Djanet Sears sets this moving, poetic, and ultimately life-affirming drama in present-day Negro Creek, a 200-year-old Black community in Western Ontario.
