'Hoops and Shakespeare'

Denison student Kerstyn Johnson presents a senior theatre project that explores the intriguing intersection of athletics and theatre. Denison varsity athletes will play in a half-court basketball game in the Hylbert Family Studio Theatre, while theatre students will perform a scene from “Romeo and Juliet” in the Trumbull Aquatics Center. This project aims to examine the similarities and differences between the worlds of athletics and theatre, questioning what truly defines performance.
