Elliot Avis presents his solo exhibition for his BFA degree, presenting work in painting and ceramics. His multidisciplinary work is presented as an environment in the gallery spawned from the pieces of varied works. A fan of the absurd and the uncomfortable, Avis makes work centered around those emotions through a lively approach to style, color, composition, and material. The exhibition also creates commentary on our contemporary digital age as it reflects upon the societal impact of spending hours upon hours in front of screens and other realities.
