About
As the chief academic officer of Denison University, the Provost oversees areas that support the academic excellence of the university, including the curriculum, the faculty, and the Registrar. In addition the directors of the Athletics Department, Denison Museum, Doane Library, Center for Learning and Teaching, Austin E. Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, and the Lisska Center for Scholarly Engagement report to the Provost.
The Office of the Provost coordinates the work of the department chairs and carries out the responsibilities of the office through oversight of the governance system of the University.
