Each fall brings the excitement and energy of new students discovering how to be in their element in the classrooms and labs of Ebaugh Laboratories. This fall, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is also pleased to welcome two visiting teaching faculty members, Dr. Bryant Gilbert and Dr. Zin-Min Tun and to welcome back, Dr. Kyle Tsai, our instrumentation specialist who joined us halfway through last year.
After a successful opening Chem Bash feasting on sucrose laden treats, the Denison Chemical Society is in full planning mode for the Mole-A-Thon, welcoming AP Chemistry students, and planning different department community events throughout the semester.
We also look forward to welcoming these semester’s seminar speakers. All speakers are Tuesdays at 11:30 in Ebaugh 113. We will gather to learn about advances across varied Chemistry and Biochemistry disciplines from our visiting speakers. Refreshments are served at each seminar too!
