Torrance I. Powell

As an undergraduate I fell in love with my small liberal arts university for the resources and opportunities it provided. I believe it laid the foundation for the student-centered approach I bring to my professional life. Having once been uncertain about my degree path, I can appreciate the challenges students sometimes face during their college experience. I approach my work as the Junior Class Dean and Academic Resource Center Associate Director with the understanding that each student is an individual with unique skills, needs, and perspectives. Whether students are seeking assistance maintaining a high level of academic performance or need help discovering strategies for success, I will listen to and support them during their transitions into and through Denison.
