Lynne Comisford

I am a Granville native and one of my ancestors actually founded The Welsh Hills of Granville. I started my career as a Registered Veterinary Technician and changed to student health care when I came to Denison. In my 15 years at Whisler, I’ve seen many changes. With our initiative to integrate medical and mental health care, I see that collaboration really improves the quality of care for students. I am also pleased to be part of a campus-wide effort to promote wellness.

I enjoy spending time with my family. I’ve been happily married to my husband for 30 years. My daughter is a nurse and has two children. My son is a college student so I well understand the challenges of young adulthood. My hobbies include reading, gardening, attending our grandchildren’s sporting events, and interacting with all of my family’s pets. In health care, each day is different and you never know what the day will bring. I enjoy the learning environment and energy of college life. I like helping students navigate health care so they can be healthy and successful both in college and in life.
