Dr. Frazier has extensive experience providing evidence based mental health care to diverse populations as a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a child and adolescent specialization from The Ohio State University in 2012, and completed residency and fellowship at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She has provided direct clinical care and supervision of psychology and psychiatry trainees across various levels of mental health services including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, community outpatient, and juvenile detention settings.
Dr. Frazier specializes in empirically based treatments for mood disorders and high-risk behaviors. She has published and presented a wide range of clinical research on the adaptation and implementation of empirically based treatments in novel settings and intervention research in adolescents with mood disorders and comorbid mental health challenges. She currently serves as the Chair of the Acute, Intensive, and Residential Service (AIRS) Special Interest Group of APA’s Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Her clinical style balances acceptance and change, meeting individuals where they are and providing a nonjudgmental space, while also providing science-based strategies to help people progress toward their goals.
