My name is Clayton Schmidt, and I have been working as a licensed counselor for nearly 4 years now. I graduated from Xavier University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I also completed my internship with Xavier University’s counseling center. Since obtaining my degree, I have been working with a wide range of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders and other trauma-related disorders. I take particular interest in working with student athletes and members of the lgbtq community. When I’m not counseling, I enjoy finding hiking trails to explore, checking out movies at the AMC, and finding new board games to play. I look forward to being a part of the Denison community and helping you work towards becoming your best possible self!
