Christopher Cimaglio

Chris Cimaglio’s teaching and research focus on media and politics from historical and critical/cultural perspectives. He is currently working on a book on the politics of representing the white working class in U.S. news media and political discourse since the 1930s. He has taught a wide range of classes in the media studies area of the Communication Department, including Media Structures, Media Theory, Media and the Public, Media Practices, Critical Media Geography, and Media Historiography. Chris earned his Ph.D. from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
