Brett Hoffman
Brett contributes forward-thinking web design, digital content strategy, and front-end feature development to the university’s award-winning website and its many other public web properties. He works in coordination with the University Communications content development teams to produce thoughtful, dynamic, and unique interactive experiences that help raise visibility and align with the goals of the university. His primary focus on a day-to-day basis is on managing and extending the university’s primary web properties, utilizing an array of modern web practices and technologies to create accessible platforms for Denison’s varied audiences.
Brett focused on graphic design and motion graphics at Kendall College of Art and Design and pursued media studies while attending Columbus College of Art and Design. He worked independently for three years in disciplines including web development, graphic design, and print publications prior to being brought in as a freelance consultant in 2011 to assist in the day-to-day management and development of Denison’s current and emerging web properties. He officially joined the university in 2012 and now works as Senior Digital Designer & Front-End Developer. Brett also continues to consult as a freelance web developer for businesses, individuals, and other non-profits in the Columbus area, and is the co-founder and developer for the former local Columbus bakery, Tudie’s Cookies & Sweets.
