Denison University announces that Michael S. Hills has been promoted to the position of Director of Admissions. Hills will manage all aspects the admissions process, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing the admissions staff. He steps into the position with more 27 years of admissions experience, 21 of them at Denison, having most recently served as senior associate director of admissions and director of external relations.
“Mike is widely recognized as a leader in student recruitment in the liberal arts,” said Denison President Adam Weinberg. “He is the perfect person to provide the leadership needed and deserved by an Admissions team that is widely respected and highly successful. I am thrilled Mike has agreed to take on this new role.”
“I am incredibly honored and excited about the opportunity to help lead our admissions office and hope to continue the record of success that we experienced under the leadership of Perry Robinson,” said Hills.
Hills earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in sociology from Hartwick College, and a master of education from Harvard University.
