Denison University is preparing for its Reunion Weekend, which begins Thursday, May 30, and ends Sunday, June 2. Close to 1,200 alumni from 16 classes plan to attend the annual celebration, where they will reconnect with their friends, family and professors at Denison and in Granville. This marks Dale and Tina Knobel’s final reunion as president and first lady of the college.
“We celebrate reunions to honor the history and tradition of the college,” says Steve Crawford, director for alumni relations. “Alumni return to Granville both to rekindle friendships and to explore the Denison of today.”
Some events are open to the public, include the following:
- 8:30 a.m., Saturday, June 1: Bird walk at the Biological Reserve (1258 North Street, State Route 661 North).
