Tracy Meyer ’00, an actress and improvisational comedienne in Chicago, won $100,000 on The Power of Ten, a CBS game show hosted by fellow Ohioan Drew Carey. The game’s objective is to guess the percentage of people’s responses to various questions. Her winning question: “What percentage of Americans said if they were face to face with Osama bin Laden and had a gun, they would kill him?” The answer: 57%. Tracy had to keep mum about the win from the time of her competition in September 2007 until the show aired in early January. And although she was under great pressure to spill the beans, she kept her word—none of her friends knew the results until they saw the show. With her winnings, Tracy paid off some bills and banked some, but her favorite indulgence was a cool scooter that’s perfect for navigating the streets of Chicago
