A Growing Group of Grateful Grads This spring, Forbes magazine included Denison among the ranks of Princeton, Harvard, Bucknell, and Cornell in its annual “Grateful Grads Index.” This list highlights the nation’s top 100 colleges producing alumni who are both financially successful and compelled enough to give back to their dear alma mater. Oh, and Forbes also gave us an “A” rating for financial health on its list of College Financial Grades this past fall.
The Big Green The Princeton Review’s Guide to 332 Green Colleges recently recognized Denison for its sustainability initiatives for the second consecutive year. The lineup includes all colleges and universities that “demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability in their academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities, and career preparation.” We may bleed red and white, but perhaps we have a green thumb?
Hurry Up and Get Here The Class of 2018 is already setting records. With 36 percent of the entering class hailing from multicultural backgrounds and 9 percent coming from 22 countries outside the U.S., this group is the most diverse incoming class yet. The number also puts Denison in the company of some of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country.
