Denison University welcomes Elder Madonna Thunder Hawk presenting “Building Solidarity and Resistance Movements.” Indigenous activist and leading Standing Rock organizer, Thunder Hawk will discuss the current political climate on a national and global scale.
Moderated by Elizabeth Castle, visiting assistant professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and International Studies at Denison, the discussion will include the opportunity for the audience to engage in dialogue regarding the current state of intersectional activism and effective methods for solidarity-based organizing.
