The Department of Psychology welcomes Dr. Catherine Butz presenting “Pediatric Psychology: Research & Practice.” Pediatric psychology is a multidisciplinary field of both scientific research and clinical practice which addresses the psychological aspects of illness, injury, and health behaviors in children and families. Dr. Catherine Butz, a clinical psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, will introduce the field of pediatric psychology and describe her work as a pediatric neuropsychologist in a hospital setting. This lecture is delivered as part of Psych 315: Development of Children with Special Needs. It is open to all Denison faculty and students.
