The Global Studies Seminar welcomes Sandra Mathern and Souleymane Badolo presenting “I am Relative to You: Contemporary Dance in Burkina Faso.” Following a visit to and presentation of her work in Ouagadougou, Mathern shares experiences of contemporary dance in Burkina Faso, and the influence of place and culture on her work there, and opens the conversation up to Burkinabé native and Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance Solo Badolo.
