The Lisska Center for Intellectual Engagement presents “An Evening with Nnedi Okorafor,” co-sponsored by the Laura C. Harris Series, the Goodspeed Lecture Series and the Beck Series. Okorafor is an international award-winning New York Times Bestselling novelist of science fiction and fantasy for both children and adults. Born in the US to Nigerian immigrant parents, she is known for drawing from African cultures to create captivating stories with unforgettable characters and evocative settings. 

Join us for this exciting conversation, moderated by Diana Mafe, Director of the Lisska Center. 

Audience Q&A and book signing to follow. Copies of Okorafor’s newest book, “Death of the Author,” will be available for purchase.
