Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Noor A’wad are leaders of Roots/Shorashim/Judur, a Palestinian-Israeli grassroots initiative for understanding, nonviolence, and transformation. Roots is a unique network of local Palestinians and Israelis who have come to see each other as partners in the work to make changes to end the conflict. Rabbi Schlesinger and Noor A’wad will be speaking about their personal involvement in the group and the work Shorashim/Roots is doing to promote peace.
