Message From Dr. Kim Coplin, Provost, and Dr. Laurel Kennedy, Vice President, Student Development
Dear Denisonians,
Like many of you, we are watching weather forecasts for the coming days. Winter Storm Harper is predicted to hit central Ohio tomorrow (Saturday) and continue on its path to the northeast on Sunday. We understand that this will complicate travel for many students. We want you to prioritize your safety as you make your travel plans.
Classes will begin as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 21, but we have asked faculty to be lenient and understanding of weather-related absences. If you are not able to get back safely for your first classes, please communicate by email with your professors to let them know and to get course information, so that you can get up to speed quickly upon your return.
We look forward to everyone’s safe return to campus.
Dr. Kim Coplin, Provost and Dr. Laurel Kennedy, Vice President for Student Development
