Fulbright & International Scholarships
Prestigious National and International Academic Awards
Denison students are consistently awarded Fulbright and other major prestigious national and international academic awards and scholarships. Over the years, more than 150 Denisonians have been awarded international post-graduate scholarships, and the college has both a Rhodes Scholar and a Gates Cambridge Scholar among their alumni. These scholarships give our students opportunities to do intensive research and/or teach while exploring other cultures through long-term experiences abroad.
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Other awards include those from the National Science Foundation, Critical Language Scholarships, the Marshall Scholarship, DAAD Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) in Germany, Benjamin Gilman Scholarships, Davis Projects for Peace, Rangel and Boren Scholarships.
