Twenty-five Denison students were inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society for students of psychology.
The following students were admitted in Fall 2017: Michaela Allen, Jared Barkin, Esther Beauchemin, Grace Anthony Bruno, Brendan Connolly, Sarah Droder, Jennifer Durbin, Hannah Gibson, Maria Hollobaugh, Megan Hickey, Sophie Kollin, Julia Laden, Laura Robinson, Morgan Russell, and Andrea Weyneth.
The following students were admitted in Spring 2018: Coco Alban, Zehan Ge, Caroline Ingalls, Colleen Muldoon, Amaya Rakes, Jessica Ramsey, Sarcy Shulman, Lauren Secaras, and Elizabeth Toigo.
Psi Chi is the National Honor Society for Psychology. Founded in 1929, Psi Chi seeks to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship and practice of psychological science. Psi Chi is one of the largest honor societies in the United States, having more than 1,100 chapters. Psi Chi has inducted more than 700,000 lifetime members from chapters in the United States, Canada, and multiple other countries. Members are selected based on their undergraduate performance in psychology courses. Psi Chi is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
