“Recalcitrant authoritarian tides have precipitated ruptures in state-society relations and shattered any illusions of democratic certainty within and beyond Southeast Asia. The hall of mirrors has been smashed, so to speak.”
In cooperation with the convenor, Assistant Professor Nhu Truong, New Mandala is pleased to share a series of articles based on papers presented at the People’s Power and Resistance in Southeast Asia Roundtable at the 35th Biennial Conference of the Canadian Council for Southeast Asian Studies.
