Faye Driscoll, Vail Artist-in-Residence in the Department of Dance and award-winning choreographer, presents an informal work-in-progress showing of her latest work, the third part to the trilogy “Thank You For Coming,” which she has been workshopping during her one-week residency here. Faye describes her work as “an immersive world of sensorial complexity and perceptual disorientation. Through performers’ powerful exposure, heightened proximity, and at times physical connection with the audience, viewers feel their own culpability as co-creators of the performance.” She describes her work as “a rigorously crafted group experience that comes off as improved, chaotic and spontaneous.” Come and watch the beautiful Faye Driscoll performing at Doane Dance Performance at 7 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.
