Recently, eight Denison students in the math and computer science department were recognized at the Fifth Annual James T. Glerum, Jr. Top-50 Honors Celebration for earning one of the top 50 grade point averages of the over 400 Denison student-athletes. This was the highest showing of any department! As a special honor, students asked faculty mentors to say a few words on their behalf as they accepted the award. These were heart-felt testimonials conveying the hard work and dedication our student athletes bring to the classroom and to the field. In a special honor, Phil Papaioannou earned the Ted Barclay Top Five Award – putting him in the top five GPAs of all student-athletes. We are proud of our student-athletes and thank them for all they do for Denison!
