Gojira (Godzilla), a colossal prehistoric creature awakened by atomic testing, unleashes chaos upon an unprepared Tokyo. This Japanese monster movie delivered a poignant allegorical warning about the dangers of nuclear war and also launched the longest -running film franchise in history.
