“Don’t put anything off - especially travel.” - Donald Winters

“This series of prints entitled Travelogue, serves as documentation of places I have visited. Each image sparks a specific sensory memory – the time of day, the season, a remembrance of who I was with, where I had come from and where I was going in that particular instance. Often, times of travel are heightened experiences – more conducive to exploring the present moment than in everyday life. In creating these prints I am able to recall these moments of clarity and acute awareness of my surroundings.

I am grateful for having had the chance to travel and see these places. These experiences have shaped me as an artist and as a person.  I have changed as a result of having been there.

This portfolio is dedicated to my father, Donald Winters.  He taught me the excitement and joy of going to new places and his love and support have been invaluable to me as an artist.”
